Anatolians contributed significant ancestry to both modern Europeans and Middle Easterners, equal to a parent or grandparent, on average.

Both races also share Caucasus Hunter-Gatherer ancestry equivalent to that of a great- or great-great-grandparent.

The Indo-Iranian invasions of the Middle East brought a small amount of Eastern European Hunter-Gatherer ancestry into the region.

WHG ancestry is under-represented in Europeans because EHG is already 25% WHG.

I have been working with the epic heavy metal artist Christian Sloan Hall again, this time to produce some artwork of Western Steppe Herders for my upcoming video on the Yamnaya people. It is hard to reconstruct eneolithic people of the steppe due to lack of evidence for much of their material culture, but we did our best and drew on many sources to try and get it right.
