⭕️ Israel sets up global legal shield to protect soldiers from arrest abroad over Gaza war crimes

Israel's Walla newspaper reports that Israel has created a new legal defense network to protect its soldiers from potential arrests abroad over war crimes committed in Gaza. The initiative comes amid rising threats from international organizations said to be gathering evidence and preparing arrest warrants against Israeli soldiers. The system includes standby Israeli lawyers with experience in foreign courts, backed by state funding to cover legal costs.

Military officials say the plan reflects Israel’s concern that both active-duty and reserve soldiers could face legal action when traveling overseas, especially after Israel's genocidal war on Gaza ends. Israel will provide soldiers with local legal representation as well as Israeli military lawyers to safeguard their personal rights, due to fears that international accountability efforts will follow soldiers long after the brutal assault on the strip ends.

⭕️ Israel preparing 'target bank' for attacks on Yemen after failure of US campaign

Walla reports that Israel is preparing a large-scale strike campaign against Yemen's Ansarallah, with AMAN and Mossad compiling a “target bank” to hit their command centers, ports, military industries, and other strategic assets. Political sources insist Ansarallah is "defeatable,” despite Israeli military officials admitting their underground infrastructure makes them difficult to hit.

An attempted assassination of the Yemeni Armed Forces' Chief of Staff, Mohammad Abd al-Karim al-Raghmari, narrowly failed, while officials warn the Yemenis may escalate missile attacks once Israel expands its assault on Gaza City.

The move comes after the failure of the US Operation Rough Rider, which launched more than 1,000 strikes between March and May but failed to stop Yemeni drone and missile attacks.

Despite killing hundreds and reportedly destroying bases, the Yemeni Armed Forces adapted quickly, while the US lost billions of dollars in equipment, including several MQ-9 Reapers and F-18 jets, before opting for negotiations. Israeli officials argue their strategy must differ, aiming for a broader, cumulative blow that inflicts lasting damage.

❗️Iran's Supreme Leader rejects obedience to US and Israel, warns of plots to sow division

Speaking on Sunday, Ali Khamenei said the hostility of the United States toward Iran is not new but has remained constant for nearly half a century, regardless of who occupies the White House.

“For 45 years, US governments, through various individuals, groups, and parties that have come to power, have maintained the same hostility, the same sanctions, and the same threats toward the Islamic Republic and the dear nation of Iran,” he declared.

In the past, he explained, Washington concealed its real motives behind slogans of terrorism, human rights, or democracy. But today, the truth has been openly revealed. “The current US leader has clarified the true objective. He said, ‘Our confrontation with Iran, with the Iranian nation, is so that Iran becomes obedient to the United States.’”

Khamenei warned that since the enemy has now realized it cannot defeat Iran through war, it has turned instead to plots aimed at creating division inside the country.

He cautioned against internal agents, Zionist influence, and careless voices that may fuel discord, while praising the Iranian people for maintaining unity despite political or social differences.

The Leader underlined the necessity of preserving cohesion among all segments of society, between the people and the administration, among officials themselves, and between the nation and the Armed Forces, stressing that the enemy’s greatest effort today is focused on undermining this unity.

Turning to the war in Gaza, the Leader described the Zionist regime as “the most hated regime in the world, the most despised government,” noting that even Western states now condemn its conduct. But, he stressed, words are meaningless in the face of what he called crimes unprecedented in modern history: “Killing children through hunger and thirst, letting them starve, is unparalleled. Children who come seeking food are being shot at. To the best of my knowledge, such a thing has never occurred in history.”

He called for all aid channels to Israel to be severed, praised Yemen’s resistance as the correct path, and prayed, “God willing, may He bless the movement of the Iranian nation and the advocates of justice worldwide and eradicate this deep, malignant cancer from the region.”

❗️Kurds reject Syria’s transitional parliament process as 'undemocratic and exclusionary'

The Kurdish-led Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) on Sunday denounced Damascus’s decision to postpone parliamentary selections in Kurdish-held regions, calling the process “neither democratic nor representative of the Syrian people.”

The body said defining its territories as unsafe was a political excuse to marginalize more than five million Syrians in Hasakah, Raqqa, and other areas under its control, stressing that “northern and eastern Syria are the safest regions.”

The criticism came after Syria’s new electoral committee announced that transitional parliamentary selections, set for September 15–20, would not take place in Suwayda, Hasakah, and Raqqa provinces due to “security challenges.”

Under the interim constitution adopted after Bashar al-Assad’s fall in December, two-thirds of the 210-member People’s Council will be appointed by local bodies, while self-appointed President Ahmed al-Sharaa will select the remaining 70 lawmakers.

The arrangement has already drawn fire for concentrating power in the presidency and sidelining minorities.

AANES warned that “any decision taken through this approach of exclusion will not concern us, and we will not consider it binding,” adding that the process merely repeats decades of Baathist marginalization.

It urged the United Nations and international community not to recognize the outcome and said only an “inclusive political track where everyone participates” can address Syria’s long-standing crises.
