By January 2025, the mining game came to a permanent end. This marked the close of Vertus Phase 1 and set the stage for a new era focused on real products and long-term $VERT utility.
The transition was formalized with TGE, followed by the exchange listings on January 17, 2025.

To date, 248 million VERT have already been distributed.
An additional 117 million tokens (the 35% locked part) are scheduled for release to Phase 1 players (T2E) very soon.
After that, around 300 million tokens from Airdrop allocation will remain for future distributions to all new and old users.

✔️ We’ve received many recurring questions recently — and we’re happy to answer them all below.


1️⃣ When was the TGE?

The Token Generation Event (TGE) took place on 17 January 2025.


2️⃣ Why was my in-game balance higher than what I could withdraw?

The total token supply was capped at 1.2 billion VERT.
Players collectively mined more than that amount, so a fair coefficient 4.67 was applied to ensure everyone’s rewards fit within the maximum supply.
Meaning that, for example, if your total balance was 9500 and you spent 500 for upgrades, then 9500 + 500 = 10000 would be your total balance, and this is divided by 4.67 — so you would have received around 2140 tokens available for withdrawal.


3️⃣ What happened to the balance I farmed after TGE?

As announced in the post from 13 January, that date was used for the snapshot of all balances later converted into on-chain tokens.
After that, mining officially ended, and no further in-game balances were counted.
The game remained visible in the app for a while, but it wasn’t connected to “Season 2”, which has never been announced to start.
We’ve now removed the game section, and Vertus functions purely as a wallet app.


4️⃣ I have not received an airdrop at all. How can I claim my tokens?

It is not possible to claim the tokens if you have not received them in the past. Withdrawal requests started on 9 January 2025 and were open until 10 February, when mint requests were closed.
This was the only airdrop phase during which users received their rewards.
If you have received part of your allocated tokens, you are about to receive the remaining portion very soon.
If you haven’t managed to receive the airdrop — don’t worry. We are launching, in the very near future, a new way to earn tokens. This is yet to be announced.


5️⃣ Why did I receive only 65% of my tokens?

At TGE, 65% of tokens were unlocked, and the remaining 35% will be distributed to you very soon.
You can already see this reflected in the updated wallet UI, where the number of tokens already received and the number still to be received in the near future are clearly shown.


6️⃣ Will there be new airdrops?

Yes! We’ve reserved around 295 million tokens for future distributions among both new and existing users.
Various campaigns will be launched to reward participation within the Vertus ecosystem.
