🇺🇸⚡️ HERO: K-9 assisted in locating a suspect hiding beneath rubbish in a dumpster, which resulted in the suspect shooting the police dog and law enforcement subsequently killing the individual.

The 56-year-old suspect evaded capture for hours after murdering Brazoria County Deputy Jesus Vargas before being discovered hidden beneath rubbish in a dumpster. During the arrest, the suspect fired and injured a K-9 named Rocky, who was airlifted for treatment and is said to be in stable condition. Officers then shot and killed the man, bringing an end to the extensive hunt in Houston.

We sent condolences to the deceased Deputy and thank Rocky for being a hero!
