Canonical has announced a major change in its kernel strategy for Ubuntu development builds, committing to package new upstream kernels, not only the kernel planned to ship in the final, stable release. How is this different to what went before? Previously, development versions of Ubuntu would use the same kernel included in the preceding stable release for a significant chunk of the development cycle, only switching over to the target kernel version later in the cycle, usually ahead of Kernel Freeze. Компания Canonical уволила Тилля Кампетера (Till Kamppeter), лидера проекта OpenPrinting, развивающего компоненты для обеспечения вывода на печать в Linux и с 2021 года взявшего на себя сопровождение сервера печати CUPS, после того как компания Apple потеряла интерес к проекту. Testing ChatGPT Agent Mode: A flawed concept?


The new ChatGPT Agent Mode combines the Operator's ability to browse and interact with websites with Deep Research's ability to analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources. I tested ChatGPT's Agent Mode and was quite disappointed. Honestly, I find it surprising that OpenAI made this feature available to the public, considering that they have led the way with their chatbot so far. In my view, ChatGPT's Agent Mode is a flawed concept because it forces an AI agent to use a web browser, a relatively primitive tool designed for inferior human intelligence.
