When Fitnah Occurs, Extinguish it with Taqwa!
Talq Ibn Habib (d.100H) - رحمه الله - said:
When the fitnah (trial, tribulation) occurs, then extinguish it with taqwa. They said: And what is al-taqwa? He replied: It is that you act in obedience to Allah, upon light from Allah, hoping for the reward of Allah. And it is that you abandon disobedience to Allah, upon a light from Allah, fearing the punishment of Allah."
Refer Risalah al-Tabukiyyah (p. 8-9) of Ibn al-Qayyim.

As Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal (d.241H) - رحمه الله - said,
"Love Ahl al-Sunnah for what has emanated from them. May Allah cause us and you to die upon the Sunnah and the Jama'ah."
