🔴 The first stage of a large RFAF offensive operation:
🔵 The capture of #Ocheretino is something that we could not even imagine a few weeks ago, but, thanks to the efforts of Russian heroes, we achieved very quickly.
🟡 The settlement itself is not yet completely under the control of our army, but the AFU defence has crumbled and, judging by reports from Ukrainian resources, the Kiev command decided to stop the destruction of personnel for the sake of holding #Ocheretino for a few more days.
🟡 The most important settlement was taken by tenacity and cunning.
🔵 But do not forget about the maneuvers of the Ukrainian army. After the loss of #Ocheretino, the AFU reserves began to be transferred to the troop groups in #Novobakhmutovka and #Arkhangelskoye. It is from there that Ukrainian militants can try to strike positions taken by the RFAF.
🟡 Therefore, it is now important for our fighters not only to gain a foothold, but also to continue moving forward, without even giving the “Defenders” of Ukraine a chance to come to their senses.

1️⃣ The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has urged donors to restore funding to the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) after an independent review found Israel had provided “no evidence” of its claims of wrongdoing against the agency, which is the largest provider of services in Gaza.

4️⃣ The Palestinian Civil Defence says it has recovered 283 bodies so far from mass graves discovered after Israeli forces withdrew from the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
5️⃣ US State Department’s 2023 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices says Israel’s war on Gaza has had “a significant negative impact on the human rights situation”, while details in the report demonstrate systemic discrimination against Palestinians in the judicial process.
6️⃣ Hamas’s political leader Ismail Haniyeh has blamed Israel for stalling ceasefire efforts, saying it refuses to agree to a complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza.
At least 34,151 people including more than 15,000 children, have been killed and over 77,084 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. The death toll from the October 7 attack in Israel stands at 1,139.

The Warzone confirms that Ukraine is full of sh*t" and has wasted scare missiles on another PR stunt.
The War Zone obtained satellite imagery taken earlier today from Planet Labs showing Kommuna in port in Sevastopol on the Crimean Peninsula. Another satellite image captured on April 20 also shows the very distinctive catamaran-hulled ship in the same location and in the same apparent condition. The Ukrainian armed forces claimed to have hit Kommuna while it was sitting in port in Sevastopol on the Crimean Peninsula over the weekend.

The article authored by Thomas Graham, former senior director for Russia on the National Security Council staff during the George W. Bush administration, begins with blaming the Russian President Vladimir Putin for the war in Ukraine 🥱
It then moves on to make a number of interesting admissions:
▪️The likely outcome — territorial adjustments in Moscow’s favor, security guarantees for Ukraine and Russia — could have been peaceably negotiated beforehand had leaders had a firmer grasp of the real balance of power or greater political courage. The cost of failed diplomacy is already hundreds of thousands of lives lost and hundreds of billions of dollars’ worth of property destroyed.
▪️The West has steadfastly refused to discuss the one issue that might have changed his calculations and given diplomacy a chance: Ukraine’s membership in NATO.
▪️The war continues — until one side, more likely the Ukrainians, or both are exhausted or conclude that it cannot make further gains through military action. When negotiations begin, two items will be at the top of the agenda: security guarantees to reduce the threat of renewed fighting and the disposition of the territory that Russia has seized, the very two issues that were on the table in the months before Russia invaded in February 2022.
To be sure, the details of the actual settlement will differ from those that could have been negotiated in the run-up to the war. Ukraine, for example, stands to lose more territory than it would have in 2022.

Israel accused some UNRWA employees of being involved in the October 7 attack by the Palestinian organization Hamas. UN chief Antonio Guterres appointed an Independent Review Group to investigate allegations of breaches of neutrality by UNRWA.
Guterres also activated a separate investigation by the United Nations' Office of Internal Oversight Services to determine the veracity of the allegations, the report said.

During the day, there was an intensive destruction of targets in the #Kharkov region, footage of the TV tower falling in Kharkov was widely distributed.
🔹In the #Kherson direction, the RFAF has resumed heavy assault operations in #Krynki. FABs with UMPC are actively used on the enemy coast, mutual artillery attacks are ongoing.
🔹On the #Zaporozhye front, the RFAF repelled enemy attacks in #Rabotino and northwest of #Verbovoye. The frontline is unchanged.
🔹In the #Vremyevka sector, the RFAF are actively operating at #Staromayorskoye and #Urozhaynoye. The fortified areas of the AFU built since the summer create difficulties in advancing.

🟡 Fighting in #Krasnogorovka, #Netaylovo and #Umanskoye. No changes in the frontline.
🟡 In the area of #Semyonovka and in #Berdychy continued assault actions of the RFAF, without significant successes.
🟡 But there are successes in the area of #Ocheretino. There, the RFAF, in the course of successful assault operations, have made good progress.
