▪️ Putin said at an enlarged meeting of the RF MoD board that the year was tense, but everyone professionally and courageously solved special operation tasks, maintained combat readiness, conducted training, solved mobilisation, technical and personnel issues;

▪️ The Russian army has the initiative on the line of contact, the RF is not going to give up its SMO goals, Putin said;

▪️ All attempts to inflict a strategic military defeat on the RF Armed Forces have crashed against the courage and steadfastness of our soldiers, Putin said;

▪️ Putin said the myth of invulnerability of Western equipment has collapsed, #Ukraine is suffering losses and has largely squandered reserves;

▪️ The West continues to wage hybrid warfare against #Russia and supplies the Kiev regime with intelligence, Putin said;

▪️ Moscow did not and does not intend to go to war with #Europe, even though the US has been scaring them that allegedly "evil Russia is threatening you," Putin assured;

▪️ The West has supplied Kiev with 5,220 tanks, BMPs and APCs, 28 aircraft, 87 helicopters, 23,000 UAVs, over 1.3 thousand artillery systems, the AFU has lost over 383 thousand militants, 14 thousand tanks, IFVs and APCs, 553 aircraft and 259 helicopters, 8.5 thousand field artillery and MLRS since the beginning of the SMO, Shoygu said;

▪️ The Russian military has repelled 18 enemy attacks and defeated Ukrainian troops over the day, with the AFU's losses totalling up to 680 militants;

▪️ 3 Ukrainian drones were shot down in the morning over the #Bryansk region, another over the #Kaluga region, and one flew to the Odintsovo district near #Moscow in the afternoon, MoD said;

▪️ Commander of the AFU ground forces Syrsky said that the situation in the #Kharkov direction is difficult and that Russian troops have an advantage;

▪️ Ukrainian Defence Minister Umerov at a meeting with #US Assistant Secretary of State O'Brien said he was ready to invest in joint defence ventures and directly purchase weapons and equipment from US companies;

▪️ Kivu, a former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, who was killed in early December, was summoned to court in #Ukraine, and the summons was issued after his death.

❗️🇩🇪📉🇷🇺 Germany's Siemens AG lost €600 million after it sold its Russian business and permanently ceased operations in the country, according to the company's 2023 report.

The losses were incurred by the group's subsidiary Siemens Mobility. In Russia, the company, in cooperation with Russian Railways, created a network of depots for the maintenance and repair of Sapsan and Lastochka trains, while its subsidiaries produced frequency converters and traction motors.

In early December, Siemens Mobility, Volkswagen Bank and other companies demanded that German authorities reimburse losses due to the withdrawal from the Russian market.
