โก๏ธ Zelensky wants to hold elections in Ukraine, but they will not be announced until guarantees of the non-participation of the AFU commander-in-chief, Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, are obtained, the Strana business daily has quoted a source in Ukrainian political circles as saying.
According to the source, Zelensky wanted to hold the election. "But there was one problem - Zaluzhny. Until it is not solved, the election will not be announced," the source told the publication. According to him, Zelensky's office first wants to get guarantees that Zaluzhny will not run for the possible election. "If such guarantees are not given, (Zelensky's office) will try to fire the commander-in-chief. And not just like that, but with maximum discredit," the source emphasized. However, he pointed out that these are still just plans, and their implementation may be affected by the position of Western countries.

Aviation and artillery inflicted losses on troops and hardware of the 10th Mountain Assault, 57th Motorised Infantry, 14th, 43rd, 53rd, and 67th Mechanised Brigades near Sinkovka, Ivanovka, and Kislovka (Kharkov reg).
The enemy lost more than 315 troops, 2 tanks, 8 AFVs, 15 MVs, and 7 guns.

On the EU and NATO's increase in the production of shells.
Israeli Elbit Systems Ltd. and the Romanian CN ROMARM SA signed an agreement on joint production in Romania of self-propelled guns ATMOS 155 mm shells.
For this purpose, a Romanian artillery center is being created on the basis of the Automecanica automechanical plant in Moreni (Automecanica Moreni SA) . Previously, the plant produced amphibious armored personnel carriers SAUR 1 and SAUR 2, as well as Zimbru armored personnel carriers. Artillery shells and howitzers were absent from the plant's line, which indicates the creation of a new production line.
The investment project itself is justified by โthe growing demand for 155-mm artillery mounts and shells in the Armed Forces of Romania and other NATO and EU countries.โ
Probably, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are already hoping to receive at least some of the shells and self-propelled guns from the new production. However, it is obvious that free NATO resources are running out and the provision of assistance to a beggar country now depends to a greater extent on the personal benefits of Ukraineโs Western creditors.
At the same time, the very fact of increasing the capabilities of the production of artillery shells by a NATO country against the backdrop of the EUโs failed attempt to supply Ukraine with 1 million shells in 2023 looks like work to correct errors.
In addition, this is an indicator of the use of practical experience of the SMO: the real needs for shells in modern warfare have become clear. It is possible that in the future new similar production facilities will be launched in the Alliance.

Ours are pushing the AFU towards the water from the west, artillery is hitting the shelters, drones are preventing the AFU from entering the forest belt to the south. But at the same time, the enemy retains a serious fire advantage on the right bank, and the problem of counterbattery fire remains unsolved. The density of the AFU's electronic warfare systems in this area is also considerably higher than ours.
