The ninth anniversary of an event that for many did not predict much, but in fact gave a tangible start to what we are dealing with today. On November 21, 2013, the Euromaidan began in #Kiev, the underbelly of which, the full description of its causes and consequences, is for future historians to understand. Meanwhile, nine years later, amidst rumours and hints of a freeze in the conflict, it is clear that there will be no freeze, but a hot winter.
⚔️ The Situation on the Fronts over the past 24 Hours:
⚫️ #Svatovo - #Kremennaya Direction:
Artillery and heavy flamethrower fire on the AFU concentration areas thwarted an attempt to attack #Kuzemovka LPR. In addition, the militants attempted to attack in the direction of #Golikovo and #Chervonopopovka LPR, but were repulsed by Russian artillery. Three BMPs and one armoured vehicle were eliminated.
Two Ukrainian Uragan multiple rocket launchers were destroyed near #Pylnaya, #Kharkov region, which had been used to shell #Belgorod region.
⚫️ #Donetsk Direction:
The Russian army continues its assault on #Maryinka. Our forces have entered the city centre and established control over key sites along Druzhba Avenue. At the moment, neither side controls the administration area. There are regular army air strikes on AFU positions.

In the meantime, it would do no harm to get acquainted with another example of the Russian arsenal - the 2C4 "Tyulpan", the most powerful mortar in the world, which is appropriately called "Death from Heaven".

🇺🇦 On Ukrainian ideology and the root causes of the execution of prisoners near Makiivka
RT military correspondent Murad Gazdiev @msgazdiev published an interview with a former fighter of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade of the AFU from Lviv, whose members executed Russian captives in Makiivka in the LNR.
▪️Our team managed to identify five members of the massacre of Russian servicemen: Artur Bortnichuk, Nazar Mikhailovsky, Andrey Sokol, Bogdan Kovgan and Nikita Maltsev. But the man in the frame tells us what motivated them.
▪️He mentions things that are already known, like the work of American information and psychological operations specialists with the compound personnel or orders to shell civilian infrastructure in Donbass.
▪️However, there is also a key point: an ex-serviceman of the AFU emphasizes that hatred for everything Russian was instilled in the 80 Brigade long before the large-scale combat operations.
▪️And this seemingly small detail is extremely important. After all, it once again reminds us that hatred for Russia and everything Russian in Ukraine was cultivated at all levels. With the beginning of the SMO, it just got out and showed itself in full force.
▪️This is why there is virtually no reflection in Ukrainian society about AFU artillery strikes on residential areas with the throwing of "petal mines," where people in all seriousness believe in the "self-shooting" of Donetsk.
▪️That is why ordinary AFU fighters shoot prisoners in the legs near Kharkiv, cut the throats of the wounded near Kyiv, and execute civilians without trial, outstripping any so-called "national battalion" in harshness.
▪️That is why the townspeople easily demolish monuments to figures of the distant past, who lived hundreds of years before Ukraine itself was formed, and vote for a ban on the Russian language, which they themselves speak.
🔻And that is why peaceful coexistence with Ukraine is simply not possible under any circumstances: the ingrained local ideology does not fundamentally imply it. In its current form, the country poses a constant threat to Russia.
And the only real way to eliminate it is a complete military defeat of the AFU, followed by the demolition of Ukrainian statehood. There are no other ways right now.

▪️ The new formation of the AFU's 47th Separate Assault Brigade to reinforce the grouping on the border with the #Belgorod region is being completed in the #Kharkov region.
▪️ The AFU sabotage and reconnaissance groups are operating near #Strelechya and #Volchansk, while the 228th Battalion of the 127th Territorial Defence Brigade has been moved to #Ternova.
#Starobelsk Direction (MAP):

It is not really surprising:
▪️ After the Second World War, a moral change began. Western society reformed from within, values changed.
▪️ The Cold War divided the world into two solid blocs. After they ceased to exist, we found that war crimes continued to be committed by supposedly civilised peoples.
▪️ With the extensive media synchronisation in the West, almost all opinion-forming media are state-owned or in the hands of corporations, the corrective that was supposed to exert influence on society has fallen away. Crimes committed by their own side are played down or concealed. Have the media ever demanded sanctions against the USA?
▪️ This is accompanied by a decline in philosophical analytical thinking. Ideologues gained influence in education. Students no longer learn how to analyse facts objectively, but how not to deal with uncomfortable facts. Whataboutism instead of analysis and so on. Who understands nowadays that international law and international humanitarian law are parallel? Who explains it to the rabble?
▪️ Combat units, increase their combat power, by fomenting hatred. Even American football teams are included in this ("defense kill").
▪️ Since the Ukrainian state has not taken any strict measures against war crimes due to a lack of demands from its patrons, on the contrary, the media has been stirring up hatred for years, the soldiers' behaviour is not incomprehensible and is not an isolated case as in other armies.
🩸 This is exactly why the Ukrainian units are so unreflective that they proudly post their war crimes online themselves and do not need Assanges to make them public.

◾The UN nuclear energy watchdog has said the forces behind the shelling of Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia power plant are “playing with fire”, after a series of explosions shook the facility.
◾The head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, said the news was extremely disturbing and he called the explosions completely unacceptable. “Whoever is behind this, it must stop immediately. As I have said many times before, you’re playing with fire,” he said.
- The fact that the head of the IAEA can't even name the people responsible for the shelling of a NPP because doesn't fit the Western narrative is incredible.
- I don't know how they get away with this, the readers of the western newspapers have a cognitive dissonance out of a distopian novel.

Artillerymen of the 4th Brigade of the LPR People's Militia destroyed, see here 👉 the longer original video, two enemy self-propelled artillery pieces near #Seversk. The howitzers were constantly changing position and hiding in a hangar, but the Russian fighters tracked them down and hit them with accurate shots.
If corrected from the air the artillery works well against smaller targets. The video shows a hit on a small ammunition depot in a forested area, which was hit from the first shot.
In positional combat, the work of Russian artillery becomes one of the most important factors in determining the success of ongoing combat operations.
