🇺🇸🇸🇩🇦🇪⚡- The US announced it will sanction the Sudanese government led by Chairman Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, citing the Armed Forces use of 'chemical weapons' in its attacks on the Rapid Support Forces in 2024.

The timing comes immediately after the International Court of Justice rejected Sudan's case of accusing the UAE of facilitating a genocide in the Darfur region. The UAE, which had recently signed a $1.4 trillion economic cooperation agreement with the US, have been blamed for funding the Rapid Support Forces.

The decision marks a sharp turn in US foreign policy, which had historically supported Minni Minnawi and the people of Darfur. Even as recently as January, the US Treasury sanctioned Hemedti, the Commander-In-Chief of the Rapid Support Forces.

🇮🇱 - David Zini, who's strongly religious and associated with far-right religious groups, was close to becoming a military secretary for Netanyahu last year. He was rejected in the final moment by Netanyahu himself, who disapproved of his strong religious beliefs.

However, Netanyahu's wife Sara is reportedly a strong supporter of Zini, having previously supporting him for the role of Chief of Staff, which Netanyahu had also disapproved.

Essentially, the appointment of Zini, like many other decisions, looks like an appointment made by his wife, and not the Prime Minister himself. Something Netanyahu has been criticized heavily for within Israel.

The total number of drones launched by Ukraine would have been significantly higher as many managed to make impacts, thus making it the largest drone attack in history.
