Custody of evidence quietly changed hands. This is not how scandals break. This is how damage control begins when prevention has already failed.

Here’s what actually moved during that window, without headlines or announcements: Epstein-related exhibits were quietly re-indexed under “ongoing review.” Digital archives tied to civil liability cases went offline for “maintenance” between 01:00–04:00 EST. Private servers connected to sealed testimony experienced synchronized outages. At least three high-profile individuals altered international travel plans within 48 hours. None of this required press releases. Silence was the signal.

Epstein was never the scandal. Epstein was the container. The real risk was always what sat adjacent to his files: dates, guest movement logs, financial conduits, intermediaries, private communications, and favors owed. Those don’t explode publicly. They detonate procedurally.
