The Arizona Senate and Cyber Ninjas have agreed to settle the lawsuit filed by the Arizona Democratic Party. The parties agree that:
(1) Cyber Ninjas will not compare early ballot envelope signatures with those in the voter registration files;
(2) Auditors will allow news reporters freer access to the recount;
(3) Auditors will continue to allow the Secretary of State to send observers to the recount; and,
(4) Auditors will continue to abide by all of the policies and procedures which they submitted to the court last week.

Many people are making assumptions about signature matching. Some have assumed that the signatures are the most important part of the audit. I don't think that's true. Why would someone forfeit their most valuable information?

Per Kelli: Signature matching is not being done at this time, but it may have been done previously, and it could be done in the future.
The settlement agreement stipulates that 48 hr notice must be given if signatures are going to be matched.

Serving suggestion:
Please don't assume to know what the best way is to conduct an audit. Leave it to the experts. You'll be less stressed and you'll sleep better.
