Imagine that I enter your county and roll a twenty-sided die 83 times, recording the series of numbers.
Then I step into the next county and roll the die 83 times again, yielding the *same* series of 83 numbers.
I repeat this process in all eighty-eight Ohio counties, yielding the same series of numbers every time in every county.
The same 83 numbers, 88 times in a row.
Someone says to me, “Show me the proof that die is rigged.”
I show them the 88 lists of numbers, all identical, one list recorded while in every county.
They say, “But how do you know that is not natural?”
