This weekend ushers in another round of Ingress First Saturday events. Over 72 cities in 36 countries will be participating in these Agent run and Agent organized events. First Saturday events typically involve competitions surrounding AP gains or other statistics. Some events are organized to benefit local charities. Agents who filled out the Help Center form about their Sojourner streak being affected by the server outage on July 25th & 26th have had their hacking streaks restored. If you were an agent who had their Sojourner streak restored, your counter might appear to reset to 0. Hack a nearby portal and your streak should update. The top 25% of those who exceed 300 new unique portals visited will instead earn a special version of the medal: The Lux Odyssey… a permanent testament to your epic voyage.

Each year in October, Berlin Germany transforms its landmarks, monuments, and buildings into pieces of art using light, lasers, and other illumination effects. The Berlin Festival of Lights is one of the best-known light art festivals in the world.

Agents of both factions will be happy to know that we have partnered with the Festival of Lights. Ingress is going to create beautiful festival missions that will guide you through Berlin to discover the gorgeous light installations.
