A mother of two has been left paraplegic after being shot by Iranian police over an alleged violation of the country's strict hijab rules, a source with knowledge of the case has told the BBC.

Arezoo Badri, 31, was driving home with her sister in the northern city of Noor on 22 July when police attempted to pull her over to confiscate her car.
The driver did not comply with the order to stop, prompting the officers to shoot, the police commander in Noor told Iran's state-run news agency, without naming Ms Badri.

A Federal law enforcement agent has just told me that the New York State National Guard has started staging guardsmen in hotels around the NYC courthouse where President Trump is going to be sentenced on September 18th, as they are expecting that Trump will be taken in to custody and sent directly to Rikers Island by Judge Juan Merchan.

Source says the National Guard is being staged there because the Mayor of NYC Eric Adams and the Governor of New York Kathy Hochul both believe the police unions are preparing to stage a mass “out sick” day in support of President Trump on September 18th because none of the officers want to be involved in the persecution of Donald Trump.

Painkillers like Nurofen have faced criticism and scrutiny for charging more for the same drug by labeling them for specific types of pain, such as "Nurofen for Headache" or "Nurofen for Period Pain." The active ingredient in these products is the same—ibuprofen—yet the marketing and packaging suggest they are uniquely formulated for different types of pain.

Investigations and studies have revealed that products marketed for specific pains, such as Nurofen for Headache, Nurofen for Period Pain, Nurofen for Back Pain, and Nurofen for Migraine, contain the same active ingredient and dosage—ibuprofen 200mg. Despite this, they are often sold at different prices.

Consumer rights groups and regulatory authorities have criticized this practice as misleading. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) took action against Reckitt Benckiser, the maker of Nurofen, leading to a fine and a requirement to change their packaging to more accurately reflect the contents and purpose of the medication.

In 2016, Reckitt Benckiser was fined $6 million by the Federal Court of Australia for misleading consumers with their Nurofen Specific Pain products. The court found that the packaging and marketing falsely implied that the products were formulated to treat different types of pain, despite containing the same active ingredient.

It cannot be understated how terrible this is. The biggest outlet in the UK is intentionally pushing out propaganda to brainwash the public.
