🇪🇺✍🏻 - Even countries that haven't shifted massively to the right are implementing key right-wing program points in their governance to stave off the rise of such parties, at least when there are elections nearby.

Spain's left has implemented very right-wing friendly economic measures and VOX is still rising in polls. The only reason most countries haven't seen patriotic parties rise to power is either from massive EU involvement or the entirety of the political scene rallying and ditching their values to stay in power for one (1) more term. Someone the AfD resisted infinite amounts of propaganda smear campaigns for a decade and they still flipped medium towns in the most pro-establishment western region.

How can you NOT see the massive wall in front of you ? Do EU centrists not read polls ? Do they just ignore local and regional elections ? Is that why they act so surprised whenever elections happen and the "rape the center" parties are first by a landslide ?
