🇮🇳🇵🇰 - An unprecedented amount of misinformation is being circulated on the current India-Pakistan rising tensions.
Regarding the report that India has (partially) blocked water supply to Pakistan are all false, including the video. The footage is over 72 hours old, and is not from today. India currently lacks the infrastructure, and existing projects like Kishanganga and Ratle are for hydropower, and not water storage, with minimal impact on flow. It's also unlikely India will ever block the water supply as the rivers original sources, such as Indus, are located in China.
Pakistani media claiming China has blocked the Indus river are just outright ridiculous.
Both sides are fully engaged in a war over the information space.
