Russian losses per 15/02/26 reported by the Ukrainian General Staff

Ukraine’s air defenses shot down or suppressed 55 Russian UAVs as of 08:00 after an overnight attack involving 83 strike drones, about 50 of them Shahed type. Twenty five drones hit 12 locations, with debris falling at three sites.

Russia is not serious about peace. Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said Moscow is "ready to discuss with the US and other countries the idea of external governance of Ukraine under UN auspices", proposing a temporary administration role.

That will be a very short conversation.

A Shahed drone attack damaged infrastructure and railway facilities in Odesa, the regional administration said. A railway fuel tanker was hit, causing a spill and fire. The roof of an abandoned building also caught fire but was extinguished. No casualties are reported.

Footage published from February 12 shows a Ukrainian MIM-104 Patriot air defense system intercepting two Russian Iskander-M ballistic missiles over Kyiv. In the same video, a cruise missile can also be seen being destroyed in the sky during the attack.

Russian authorities reported a “massive attack” on the Krasnodar region, saying a fuel storage tank, warehouse and terminals were allegedly damaged in the village of Volna in Temryuk district. Damage was also reported in Sochi and Yurovka.

President Zelensky said in Munich that leaders of the Berlin format agreed on energy and military aid packages for Ukraine before Feb 24. He said deliveries must arrive quickly, noting Russia attacked Ukraine this week with about 1,300 drones, over 1,200 guided bombs and 50 missiles.

Former Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko was detained while attempting to leave Ukraine in connection with the so called Mindich case (a major energy corruption scheme), Ukrainska Pravda sources said.

President Zelensky met North Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski to discuss the frontline, Russian strikes, defense cooperation and diplomacy. Zelensky thanked North Macedonia for supporting Ukraine and contributing to the PURL program.

Russian forces attacked Sumy with a reportedly new type of UAV, the Shahed 107. A drone impact was recorded, with windows blown out at the site of impact. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far.

Ukraine’s General Staff said strikes hit the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal near Volna in Russia’s Krasnodar region and a Pantsir-S1 air defense system near Kacha in occupied Crimea. A Russian artillery repair unit in occupied Donetsk and troop concentration in occupied Zaporizhzhia were also struck.

Emergency services in Russia’s Krasnodar region said firefighters are still battling a blaze in the village of Volna after a drone attack. As of 10:00 on Feb 15, two fire sites cover 2,200 square meters. A total of 165 personnel and 45 units of equipment are involved.

EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said Russia is getting more at the negotiating table than it achieved on the battlefield. She stated Moscow barely advanced beyond the 2014 front line at the cost of 1.2 million casualties and is making unrealistic demands in talks. Kallas added that Russia’s economy is damaged and it is cut off from European energy markets.
