Ukrenergo released footage showing Ukrainian energy facilities destroyed by Russian strikes. Zelensky today confirmed all of Ukraine's power plants were attacked at least once by Russia.

Deputy head of the President’s Office Pavlo Palisa declined to disclose details about Ukraine’s laser air defense system, saying he does not want to help the enemy. He expressed hope that results will be seen soon. The Atlantic earlier reported Ukraine developed such a system.

Ukraine’s 225th Separate Assault Regiment reported that 40 Russian troops were killed near Huliaipole in one day. The unit said Russian forces attempted infiltration between Ukrainian positions in the area.

President Zelensky said he informed US Secretary of State Marco Rubio about the frontline, Russian strikes and damage to Ukraine’s energy system. They discussed support during winter, the planned Geneva negotiations, security guarantees and economic recovery. Zelensky thanked the United States for its constructive approach and continued assistance.

Russia announced the launch of its first unmanned stratospheric 5G platform, Barrage 1, aimed at compensating for Starlink restrictions, according to military officer Serhii Beskrestnov. The platform can lift up to 100 kg to 20 km altitude and remain in the stratosphere for several days.

Ukraine’s 79th Air Assault Brigade said it continues search and strike operations in Myrnohrad and surrounding areas. Russian forces are attempting to bypass the city from the north to encircle Ukrainian units. According to the brigade, small infantry groups and armored breakthrough attempts have been detected early and destroyed on approach.

Another Russian armored vehicle was destroyed on the Vovchansk axis. The vehicle was reduced to burning wreckage on the battlefield. Russians were not happy.

Smoke rising in Sochi, Russia. The city has been under Ukrainian drone attacks the whole night.

Explosions reported in in both Taman and Kerch, Kraj Krasnodar and occupied Crimea.

Air alarm and explosions in Sochi and Adler. It is reported that approximately 200 Ukrainian drones are attacking in the direction of occupied Crimea and Krasnodar Kraj.

Ukraine’s air defenses shot down or suppressed 55 Russian UAVs as of 08:00 after an overnight attack involving 83 strike drones, about 50 of them Shahed type. Twenty five drones hit 12 locations, with debris falling at three sites.

Russia is not serious about peace. Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said Moscow is "ready to discuss with the US and other countries the idea of external governance of Ukraine under UN auspices", proposing a temporary administration role.

That will be a very short conversation.
