Ukraine’s General Staff said they struck multiple Russian military targets. On Feb 12, a BK-16 landing craft was hit near Novoozerne in occupied Crimea, and an RSP-10 radar was struck near Hvardiiske. The same day, a communications node in Primorsk was hit. On Feb 13, an ammunition depot near Novoekonomichne in occupied Donetsk region was struck. Damage assessments are still ongoing.

The SBU’s Alpha special operations unit said that in 2025 it cut the number of Russia’s Pantsir air defense systems in half through long range strikes. Each Pantsir system is valued at $15-20 million and is considered a key element of Russia’s air defense. The SBU said total Russian air defense systems destroyed by Alpha in 2025 are estimated at about $4 billion.

President Zelensky said that not a single power plant in Ukraine has avoided damage from Russian attacks. He added that one of the worst reports for a leader at war is being told that air defense missile stocks are empty, particularly when intelligence indicates a new mass strike could come within one or two days. #Ukraine

President Zelensky criticized Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, saying one “Viktor” may be thinking about growing his belly instead of strengthening his army to prevent Russian tanks from returning to the streets of Budapest. He received a big applause after these words.

President Zelensky said the US proposed creating a free economic zone and Ukraine is prepared to consider it as part of possible compromises and reconstruction. He stressed the territory remains Ukrainian, with 200,000 Ukrainians living there, and Kyiv will not withdraw. Zelensky said he has not heard any compromise proposals from Russia.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban responded to Zelensky’s remarks in Munich, saying the debate is not about either leader but about the future of Hungary, Ukraine and Europe. He added that this is why Ukraine cannot become a member of the EU.

Belgorod will be without heating and hot water until at least the end of the heating season in April due to strikes on energy facilities, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

President Zelensky said the United States has proposed 15 year security guarantees, while Ukraine is seeking 30 or 50 years. He said the duration will depend on the Trump administration and that the war could end this year. Zelensky also said a prisoner exchange is planned, noting 7,000 Ukrainians are held by Russia and Ukraine holds more than 4,000 Russian POWs.

Operators from the SBU Alpha unit, Azov of the National Guard and the Omega special purpose center carried out a raid on Russian rear positions near Pokrovsk and rescued a wounded commander of the 1st Omega detachment. He had been held in captivity for 27 days.

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev said Russia deliberately struck his country’s embassy in Kyiv. He said the building was hit three times and that even after Azerbaijan shared diplomatic coordinates following the first strike, two more attacks occurred.

Fighters from the 412th Nemesis Brigade shared details of last year’s NATO exercises where Ukrainian forces defeated allied units.

Ukraine was represented by Nemesis bomber pilots, 427th Rarog FPV operators, the International Legion and Delta situational awareness system teams. According to the participants, the opposing side neglected concealment, moved infantry in large groups and failed to check routes for mines.

They said the example shows how modern warfare has changed and that Ukraine is sharing its experience with partners.

Deputy head of the President’s Office Pavlo Palisa declined to disclose details about Ukraine’s laser air defense system, saying he does not want to help the enemy. He expressed hope that results will be seen soon. The Atlantic earlier reported Ukraine developed such a system.

Ukraine’s 225th Separate Assault Regiment reported that 40 Russian troops were killed near Huliaipole in one day. The unit said Russian forces attempted infiltration between Ukrainian positions in the area.

Russia announced the launch of its first unmanned stratospheric 5G platform, Barrage 1, aimed at compensating for Starlink restrictions, according to military officer Serhii Beskrestnov. The platform can lift up to 100 kg to 20 km altitude and remain in the stratosphere for several days.
