Non è tutto oro quel che luccica. Ad esempio, Patreon ha avviato una politica per fare in modo che non ci siano contenuti pornografici. In un articolo che ho scritto tempo addietro da qualche parte, non mi ricordo neanche più cosa o dove, a un certo punto facevo riferimento alle "slide" di PowerPoint chiamandole "lucidi". Era un vezzo che pensavo etimologicamente corretto ma che ha portato a qualche commento spiacevole a piè di pagina. Dicevo "lucidi" perché pensavo al sistema con il proiettore e i fogli trasparenti (i "lucidi", appunto) che avevo visto usare da qualche professore per mostrare grafici ed elenchi puntati a lezione, anni e anni fa quando ero ancora un ragazzino. In effetti non era questo il termine più corretto al quale avrei dovuto fare riferimento, perché le "slide" sarebbero più propriamente le diapositive fotografiche.

In inglese c’è una parola per definirlo: “Polymath”, è quello che in italiano si direbbe “uomo universale” o “uomo rinascimentale” (per quanto si possa anche dire “polimate” perché viene dal greco πολυμαθής che poi vuole semplicemente dire "persona molto istruita").

Comunque, ecco una riflessione interessante sull’idea che sia possibile imparare cose molto diverse e a tutte le età. Adorabile per il bisogno di restituire fiducia nel singolo individuo e capace di farci intendere che forse i team di lavoro multidisciplinari dovrebbero innanzitutto tenersi nella nostra testa.

Un po’ di economia domestica. Oggi in casa abbiamo lavato e asciugato capi di abbigliamento di vario genere. Giusto per non sbagliare, è partita la caccia in rete alla stele di Rosetta dei geroglifici (o per meglio dire, secondo me “stampigrammi”, visto che sono disegni stampati) usati dai produttori dell’abbigliamento per darti le dritte giuste su come fare.

L’ho trovata e la metto qui a futura memoria, ma anche per mio uso. Nel tempo, come accennavo, ho cambiato talmente tanti metodi di gestione delle informazioni trovate in rete che ormai non trovo più niente comunque.
