A proposito di "tenetevela da parte", un po' di tempo fa un caro lettore mi chiedeva: perché non racconti il processo con cui gestisci la tua coda di lettura? Sono rimasto estasiato dalla domanda al punto che ho cercato di dimenticarmela. Però no, alla fine devo rispondere. Lo faccio con piena onestà.
Il punto è che sono molto disordinato. Un po' per motivi di lavoro (devo saltare da un contesto all'altro, da un apparecchio all'altro, da una app all'altra, cercando di trovare sempre nuovi modi di fare le cose), un po' perché non mi piacciono le abitudini troppo soffocanti. E i feed rss mi danno l'ansia. Quindi la mia "scoperta" e la mia "gestione" dei contenuti è molto artigianale e fatta a mano. Pensate che questo canale è nato sostanzialmente per due motivi: esercitarmi un po' nella cura dei contenuti da un lato e nel trovare un posto dove sparare fuori tutti i tab di Safari che mi rimanevano aperti per settimane dall’altro.
Comunque, un po' di pratica con il tempo l'ho presa. Il primo sistema che uso e che adoro è Pocket. La versione gratuita del servizio, ma basta e avanza: permette di avere salvati anche per la lettura offline tutti gli articoli che volete. Io li taggo per trovare cose utili nei vari contesti (per questo canale, per alcuni amici, per le proposte ai vari giornali con cui collaboro, per i miei progetti e le mie ricerche). È un sistema ottimo, se posso indicare un problema è che non permette di fare batch-tagging (taggare/staggare un tot di notizie in un colpo solo) ma nessuno è perfetto. Si può usare il loro bot anche su Telegram, forwardando al proprio account gli articoli che trovate nei vari canali, tra i quali immagino ci sia anche questo. Il bot si chiama @pockebot ovviamente.
E poi copio i link tipicamente su tre app diverse: Note di macOS/iOS, Drafts 4 e un qualunque editor di markdown sia su Mac che su iPhone/iPad. Questo mi serve per creare dei bookmark offline che posso usare per altri contesti. Sono abbonato a Pinboard ma non mi trovo come servizio per mia idiosincrasia e quindi l'ho lasciato morire. Il processo di gestione di bookmark, del contenuto degli articoli e delle mie note è variabile nel tempo, ma sostanzialmente mira in una direzione: se vale la pena, ne scrivo qualcosa e poi salvo quel che ho scritto io con i vari riferimenti nella mia Content-Factory, dove c'è tutto quel che scrivo, gli articoli, i saggi, i libri, le presentazioni, i post dei blog, i tweet, le condivisioni sui social e tutto il resto. Tutto religiosamente in locale, offline, in formato aperto e ospitata sul file system anziché in un db.

In un articolo che ho scritto tempo addietro da qualche parte, non mi ricordo neanche più cosa o dove, a un certo punto facevo riferimento alle "slide" di PowerPoint chiamandole "lucidi". Era un vezzo che pensavo etimologicamente corretto ma che ha portato a qualche commento spiacevole a piè di pagina. Dicevo "lucidi" perché pensavo al sistema con il proiettore e i fogli trasparenti (i "lucidi", appunto) che avevo visto usare da qualche professore per mostrare grafici ed elenchi puntati a lezione, anni e anni fa quando ero ancora un ragazzino. In effetti non era questo il termine più corretto al quale avrei dovuto fare riferimento, perché le "slide" sarebbero più propriamente le diapositive fotografiche.
