Riparare, non buttare. Questa la filosofia, semplice eppure ‘rivoluzionaria’, dei cosiddetti Restarter: informatici, ingegneri, meccanici, elettricisti e semplici appassionati di tecnologia che gratuitamente offrono le proprie competenze tecniche per riparare oggetti di uso quotidiano che altrimenti butteremo via: telefoni, computer, televisioni, aspirapolveri, lavatrici, asciugacapelli... Periodicamente i gruppi di restarter organizzano in luoghi pubblici i Restart Party: per l’intera giornata, in un clima di festa, si mettono a disposizione dei cittadini per riparare piccoli elettrodomestici e apparecchiature elettroniche. Ne avevamo già parlato tempo fa perchè si tratta di un movimento davvero interessante attivo in tutta Europa e anche in Italia. E proprio uno dei gruppi italiani più attivi, il Restarters Firenze, organizzerà un Restart Party a Livorno il prossimo 10 giugno alla Fiera della Trasparenza.

Le teorie della cospirazione non sono infinite e soprattutto non nascono in maniera inconoscibile e ineffabile. C’è chi le studia e le mappa, arrivando a conclusioni piuttosto interessanti, anche se purtroppo americanocentriche: occorrerebbe un approccio simile anche da noi.

“La peggiore scoperta, però, è dentro le Istituzioni europee – continua Maria Maggiore. “La Commissione predica bene e razzola malissimo. Ha pubblicato vari rapporti dove chiede agli Stati di farla finita con in lock-in e costruire dei sistemi operativi aperti, ma poi firma contratti milionari – il prossimo l’anno prossimo – con la società di Redmond. E sempre senza bandi di gara, con negoziato segreto. Uno scandalo”.
