La cosa brutta di questo articolo è che mette assieme una serie di banalità da primini della classe (media impiegatizia) per valutare se tenere un lavoro oppure no. Una di quelle cose che se ne ha bisogno c'è da chiedersi come ti abbiano assunto in prima battuta.

La cosa agghiacciante è che nei colloqui che faccio ai "giovani" quando manifestano questo livello di banalità da libro cuore di solito li prendiamo congratulandoci tra di noi perché "sono maturi".

Nel 2016 è scomparso uno dei più famosi e importanti linguisti italiani, Tullio De Mauro. Due giorni fa è morto invece Zhou Youguang, linguista cinese il cui lavoro è stato fondamentale per miliardi di persone. È lui ad aver costruito il Pinyin, il sistema di trascrizione in lettere occidentali degli ideogrammi cinesi.

Zhou è stato molte altre cose (sinologo, editore, economista, per un periodo anche banchiere) in una vita che è stata non solo molto più ricca e complessa di tante altre vite, ma anche straordinariamente più lunga: è scomparso il giorno dopo aver compiuto 111 anni!

Tutti abbiamo delle cose da fare. E poi ci sono quelli che usano le liste per tenere un barlume di organizzazione delle cose da fare (ad esempio, io lo faccio). Poi ci sono quelli che fanno cose ancora molto più sofisticate.
