I cannot even recall or count the number of times over the 45+ years of my career as a trial lawyer when I closed my eyes and listened when someone spoke in meetings, depositions, or trials, especially when I knew what they were going to say.

God blessed me with discernment. I pray for discernment every day.

Thanks be to God, I figured them out over time and then I publicly reproved (exposed) them.

Ultimately over time, they did not fool me then so they do not fool me now.

We live in a fallen world.

A world of lies and deceit.

Is it difficult for you to accept this TRUTH because you love the things of this world???

Do you prefer to focus on the temporal and resist focusing on the eternal???

So many distractions. So many “news” cycles. So much bread and so many circuses.

For those who hate the things of this world, the best is yet to come.

For those who love the things of this world, the worst is yet to come.

It is not my intention to lecture or “preach” to you. Who am I to do so??? I am a sinner like you. However, I have been made righteous by the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross as I am a believer in and a follower of Jesus Christ. I will NEVER be ashamed to admit that TRUTH.

So maybe I am preaching to you after all as I try my imperfect best to speak TRUTH.

I hope that you do not find it offensive for me to do so.

So we made it over another “hump” day and we now head toward another weekend. Time flies.
