#DSNY Collection Service Resumes
The New York City Department of Sanitation will resume collection service Thursday, January 28, 2016. Starting tonight, residents should place their trash and recyclables out at curbside according to their normal schedule.
Due to the backlog in material and ongoing snow operations, there will be some delays in collection.
Residents should ensure that their material may be easily accessed and seen by unblocking any surrounding snow.

#NYCASP rules will be suspended on Friday, January 6, for snow operations.
The #NYSDoT, in conjunction with the #DSNY, today announced that Alternate Side Parking (#ASP) Regulations will be suspended Friday, January 6, 2017 to facilitate snow removal.
Payment at parking meters will remain in effect throughout the City.

No Garbage, Recycling or Organic Collection, nor Street Cleaning on Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 16.
The #NYC Department of Sanitation announced that in observance of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, there will be no garbage, recycling, or organics collection, nor street cleaning on Monday, January 16, 2017.
Residents who normally receive Monday trash, organics or recycling collection should place their material out at curbside after 4 p.m. on Monday, January 16 for pickup. The Department usually collects recyclables the week following the holiday, and this is a departure from our normal holiday service.
Additionally, all Sanitation Department administrative offices will be closed on Monday, January 16, in observance of the holiday.
