Matt Gaetz gave up his seat and just withdrew from being AG ..
What’s next?
Well… don’t forget that Donald Trump and Matt Gaetz share a “Little Secret”
What that is exactly… I don’t know… BUT… it’s evident to me that all of this was planned and there is something deeper going on… and I’m sure it’s really really good.
But to stick with just the facts right now, let’s talk about what happens with his seat.
• Resignation
Gaetz has already resigned from his position in the Florida House delegation to pursue the Attorney General position. Once a member resigns, their seat becomes vacant.
• Vacancy
With his resignation effective immediately, the seat would be considered vacant until filled by a special election or until the next scheduled election cycle, which in this case seems to be in January.
• Special Election
Florida law allows for the Governor to call a special election to fill a vacant congressional seat.
However, the timing depends on the governor's decision. If the seat has been vacated for a significant period, a special election might have already been scheduled or might be in the planning stages. But… that wasn’t the case.
• Reappointment
If Gaetz wishes to return to Congress, he would need to be elected again.
There's no automatic reappointment process; he would have to run in the special election if one is called, or wait for the next regular election cycle if no special election is called in time.
• Legal and Procedural Aspects
Once resigned, unless there's a legal mechanism allowing him to retract his resignation (which is generally not possible after formal acceptance), he would have to seek re-election through the standard electoral process.
There may be some legal loopholes I don’t know about, but I don’t believe Gov Ron DeSantis can just give his seat back to him.

That little secret may be to put Gaetz in as a Senator…
Gov DeSantis can do that.
Gov DeSantis can do that.

I greatly appreciate the recent efforts of Matt Gaetz in seeking approval to be Attorney General. He was doing very well but, at the same time, did not want to be a distraction for the Administration, for which he has much respect. Matt has a wonderful future, and I look forward to watching all of the great things he will do!

Matt Gaetz doesn’t look worried.
___
This is why it must be Matt Gaetz. He doesn’t care about the press. He won’t back down. He won’t apologize. He will plow forward on his agenda.

The update came from Andrew Feinberg who made the initial report.
"Per a transition source and Secret Service, the ambulances were part of Vice President-elect JD Vance’s motorcade. False alarm. Go about your business," he reported.
Just five minutes earlier, Feinberg reported that "about 20-25 cars, two ambulances and a helicopter hovering above" Mar-a-Lago were spotted entering the property.

Dan Scavino Jr.: ”I am currently at Mar-a-Lago, and 45–47 is in a meeting. The movements being reported by the unofficial “pool” who are staked outside of the property—of cars, vans, ambulances, and a helicopter hovering above, are that of Vice President-elect JD Vance’s motorcade. Nothing more, nothing less. Sadly, they thought they were on to something more. Hopefully they clarify and correct immediately!”

By the looks of it, Putin whipped out a new Russian ICBM that NATO defense systems cannot intercept, but did NOT attach nuclear payloads to them.
Essentially, Putin just showed the West that he has the ability to destroy them if they keep provoking him.
It was a warning. Putin just exercised extreme restraint, while also showing Ukraine/NATO that they are outgunned.
This should be front page news on every outlet, but for some reason, it’s not. Perhaps it’s because this situation does not fit their narrative that Putin is this Hitler-esque loose-cannon who wants to conquer the world.
Putin is showing restraint. He wants diplomacy, not nuclear war. But the West continue to poke the bear.
We cannot wait until January 20th. We need Trump in office right now.

This of course will be undone on day 1 of Trumps administration, but it’s just more crap they’re trying to shovel on Trumps lap as he comes into office…
They ALL need to go to tried for treason… every last damn one of them.

I am proud to announce former Attorney General of the Great State of Florida, Pam Bondi, as our next Attorney General of the United States. Pam was a prosecutor for nearly 20 years, where she was very tough on Violent Criminals, and made the streets safe for Florida Families. Then, as Florida’s first female Attorney General, she worked to stop the trafficking of deadly drugs, and reduce the tragedy of Fentanyl Overdose Deaths, which have destroyed many families across our Country. She did such an incredible job, that I asked her to serve on our Opioid and Drug Abuse Commission during my first Term — We saved many lives!
For too long, the partisan Department of Justice has been weaponized against me and other Republicans - Not anymore. Pam will refocus the DOJ to its intended purpose of fighting Crime, and Making America Safe Again. I have known Pam for many years — She is smart and tough, and is an AMERICA FIRST Fighter, who will do a terrific job as Attorney General!

In his resignation letter from the current 118th Congress, Gaetz said he did not intend to take the oath of office for the 119th Congress - which begins in January.
In November, Gaetz was reelected to another term starting next year with more than 66 percent of the vote.
If he is no longer seeking to join the incoming Trump administration, Gaetz technically could take the oath of office come January and join the new Congress.
While that is a possibility, it could also lead to the House Ethics Committee relaunching its investigation and revealing the potentially damning findings.
The future of that report as of now is uncertain after the committee was deadlocked in a vote on whether to make it public.
Should Gaetz not return to the House, that vacant seat would need to be filled through a special election.
There are two other possibilities that could bring Gaetz back to Washington in the new year if he does not to return to the House.
One less likely scenario is Gaetz could be appointed to fill the Florida Senate seat being vacated by outgoing Senator Marco Rubio who will have to resign upon his likely confirmation as Trump's Secretary of State.
Some lawmakers have already signaled they are open to the possibility of Gaetz becoming a senator including GOP Florida Senator Rick Scott.
The other possibility is that Gaetz could end up joining the Trump administration in a role that does not require Senate confirmation.
Gaetz could end up serving as a senior adviser or in the some legal counsel capacity as he is a lawyer.

Rudy Giuliani on Thursday appealed a judge’s decision last month ordering him to turn over most of his assets to two Georgia election workers to satisfy their $146 million defamation judgment.
After months of collection efforts, U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman on Oct. 22 ordered Giuliani to hand over his New York apartment, Mercedes-Benz, luxury watches, signed New York Yankees memorabilia and cash, among other items.
The former New York City mayor then missed the deadline to comply, but his new attorney has indicated much of the property has since been transferred.
Giuliani, who had consented to much of the turnover order, is now hoping to reverse it, filing a notice of appeal to bring the matter before the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Putin on the possibility of medium-range missile strikes against NATO countries:
“We are conducting combat tests of the Oreshnik missile system in response to the aggressive actions of NATO countries against Russia. We will decide on the further deployment of medium- and shorter-range missiles depending on the actions of the United States and its satellites. We will determine the targets for destruction during further tests of our latest missile systems based on the threats to the security of the Russian Federation. We consider ourselves entitled to use our weapons against military facilities of those countries that allow their weapons to be used against our facilities. And in the event of an escalation of aggressive actions, we will respond decisively and in kind. I recommend that the ruling elites of those countries that are hatching plans to use their military contingents against Russia seriously think about this.”
