Images of Google cases for the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro have appeared online.
Compared to last year, the cases are now not translucent, but just solid color. Also, the power and volume buttons are made of hard material - glossy plastic or shiny metal - rather than soft rubber. And the Google logo appears to now be made of a reflective material.
Pixel 7 cases will be available in three colors: Lemongrass (yellow-green), Obsidian (black) and Chalk (light gray). And cases for the Pixel 7 Pro are available in Hazel (dark green), and also Obsidian and Chalk.
The monochrome coloration of these cases is supposed to solve the problem of yellowing, but that remains to be seen.

Google has finally officially revealed the front of the Pixel 7 Pro.
Google has published an image where we can see the front and back of the Pixel 7 Pro. It appeared on the "Pixel Superfans" Facebook page. The group itself is private, but this image was posted as a public cover (not anymore). If you look closely, it appears that the display edges are slightly less curved than the previous generation. (Also the display was previously shown in this video).
In addition, Twitter users SnoopyTech and Badmax have posted images that appear to be screenshots from promotional materials. This may be the first look at the future wallpaper in the seventh line of flagships.

Google's Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will go on sale in India.
This week, India-based Flipkart posted a new page with information about the launch of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, stating that the phones "are on deck" and confirming that they will appear in India in a while. No word on pricing or available options.
The Pixel 3 was the company's last flagship in India. Pixel 3a, Pixel 4a and the recently released Pixel 6a were also sold in that country. The release of the latter device in the Indian market seems to mark the company's return to this country after a long break.

Google Photos will support Wear OS watch faces, probably for the Pixel Watch.
In Google Photos version 6.8.0, a number of lines with the title "photos_watchface_preview" appeared. Apparently this describes a feature that will allow you to select multiple photos to put on the watch face.
Presumably, the watch faces will change the photos throughout the day. At the same time, there is a limit to the number of photos you can select.
Whether this will be a Pixel Watch exclusive (at least at first) is unknown, for there is no direct link to the watch.

The Fitbit watches got Google "Arts & Culture" watch faces.
The Google Arts & Culture watch face is now available on the Fitbit Sense 2 and Versa 4. Every day it changes to a new piece of art from the digitized collection. The time is displayed as numbers at the bottom, and underneath is a single statistics slot where you can cycle through the date, number of steps, heart rate, minutes of activity and floors.
Tapping on the top third of the dial displays data about the current image, such as the title, creator and museum, with the option to "send a link to your phone to view the image in full resolution." At the top of the screen displays the old Arts & Culture logo, which should be updated soon.
Sense 2 or Versa 4 owners can download it by visiting the Fitbit mobile app and going to the Gallery.

Google Pixel tablet could feature a 11-inch display, up to 256GB storage.
According to Kuba Wojciechowski via 91Mobile, Google has shipped some Pixel Tablet units to India for EVT (engineering validation test). The EVT phase comes after the prototyping stage. This means that Google has finalized the design (and probably the hardware as well).
Kuba also states that tablet will come in 128GB and 256GB storage options, a 10.95-inch display, and Wi-Fi 6 support. Moreover, he spotted Google’s first-party USI 2.0 stylus for the Pixel Tablet. (Pixel tablet itself was already certified for USI before).

Material You elements are starting to appear in YouTube Music.
The company has started introducing new Material Design 3 components to the app:
• The filter carousel elements now have a rectangular shape with rounded corners.
• The "More" button on the home page now has a pill-shaped outline.
• The "Play" and "Shuffle" buttons in playlist and albums UI have also changed their shape to a pill.
The current changes haven't touched the app's bottom navigation bar yet, but it would be great if the company did implement its updated component.

Google app tests the opening of links in the form of pop-up sheets from the bottom.

Pixel Watch showed up through the Fast Pair dialog box. Companion app confirmed.
Reddit user u/Andad87 received a Google Fast Pair interface pairing notification on his smartphone. According to him, he was in Sydney, Australia, and the nearest tech store was JB Hifi.
The Fast Pair dialog box prompts to download the "Device App" to start setup. This confirms early assumptions that the Pixel Watch will have its own companion app.
Clicking on the "Go to Google Play" button took the user to a non-existent page in the app store (404 error).
