The widget, which we told you about a couple of days ago, allows you to select your closest friends, family and four-legged furballs and get photos of them on your homescreen. Tap on the widget, and it’ll take you into the Photos app to view more photos and videos.
Also Google Photos has changed its toolbar.

🇬🇧 Google Photos has updated the "Cinematic photos" feature that first launched a year ago.
This feature uses machine learning to create a video moment in 3D so you can see your photos in a more vivid way. Machine learning now fills in part of the background behind your subject, allowing the virtual camera to move more freely to find to draw attention to your subject - a kind of cinematographer for your photos.

Googler stated this on Issue Tracker.
Previously the new beta version of Android failed to pass the CTS profile check, but as of yesterday, Google started sending out fix, which should reach all devices within 24 hours.

From December 6 to 19, Tokyo residents have the opportunity to visit an exhibition of works by popular Japanese artists, according to the official Instagram account of Google Japan. Collaborating with popular Japanese digital artists (such as GUCCIMAZE and TAKERU AMANO, note Google News), Google has created an entire art object within the Japanese subway: it features 10 objects, each telling about its artist and the work itself. Near each stand installed Google Pixel 6 with a similar wallpaper, which allows visitors to evaluate the work of Monet algorithm in Android 12 on real examples. Also each visitor has an opportunity to buy any work, presented at the exhibition (the price for 1 picture is ~$436, note Google News), and also to download it to your phone, by scanning the attached QR code.

🇬🇧 Several days ago, it was reported that there was a "limited" problem on Android 10 and above devices that prevented users from making an emergency call. It was later revealed that the MS Teams app was mostly causing the error.
So what caused this problem? Mishaal Rahman figured it out in an article on Medium.
There is also an update for the Microsoft Teams application available on Google Play to fix the error, and the developer linuxct created an application that helps to find out if one of the installed applications causes the same problem. (link at the end of the article).

Данное изменение поможет пользователям всегда знать, в каком аккаунте они создают событие. При этом приложение по-прежнему будет показывать события для всех учетных записей календаря. Аккаунт, в котором вы работаете, всегда будет отображаться первым в списке аккаунтов в боковой шторке.

This change will help users always know in which account they are creating an event. The app will still show events for all calendar accounts. The account you’re active in will always be listed at the top of the accounts in the overflow menu.
