Ubuntu appears to have been dealing with a sustained cyberattack causing widespread outages for several days now.

I say "appears" because Canonical has said little about it, other than some media talk last week. Right now, the Ubuntu blog has no posts on the subject.

As leaders in the open source community, I expect better from them. Canonical needs to do more to directly acknowledge what's happening.
