The Google-owned platform announced Friday it would block access to “Russian state media” channels across the face of the earth and block all monetization on its platform inside Russia, citing the conflict in Ukraine.
YouTube said in a statement it wants to remove content “denying, minimizing or trivializing well-documented violent events,” as it goes against its Community Guidelines - specifically referring to content “about Russia’s invasion in Ukraine that violates this policy.”
Having censored RT and Sputnik in the EU – at the behest of the bloc govt's – on March 1st, YouTube said the global ban would be “effective immediately."

Fake: Vladimir Zelensky on Instagram, called the Russian strike on the Mariupol maternity hospital an atrocity and said that children, their mothers and doctors are under the rubble.
Truth: The maternity hospital has not been functional since the beginning of Russia's 'special operation' in Ukraine. The doctors were dispersed by militants of the Azov nationalist battalion.
On March 8, in an interview with Lenta.ru, the son of one of the employees of the maternity hospital said that “in the last days of February, people in uniform came to the maternity hospital where his mother works. The military dispersed the maternity hospital staff, and set up firing points in the building.”
His words are confirmed by footage published by Ukrainian telegram channels from inside the maternity hospital after the shelling. Destroyed furniture and broken glass are visible, but there are no bodies of the dead. If there were women and children inside, then the horrific footage would certainly have spread all over the world MSM.

Wealthy Russians are buying up property in Dubai, while others want to draw cash to invest it elsewhere.
These requests are believed to be attempts at avoiding ongoing sanctions resulting from the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
One crypto firm said they received a request from a Swiss broker to sell $6 billion worth of bitcoin.
Russian Billionaires are buying up property in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), while others want to draw cash to invest it elsewhere. One crypto firm has been inundated with requests from Swiss brokers to liquidate holdings worth $2 billion and above.
“We’ve had like five or six in the past two weeks. None of them have come off yet – they’ve sort of fallen over at the last minute, which is not rare, but we’ve never had this much interest,” said an executive, adding that they had one request from a Swiss broker to sell 125,000 bitcoin ($6 billion USD) for a client.
Switzerland’s economic affairs secretariat (SECO) said that the crypto assets are subject to the same sanctions and restrictions placed on the other assets owned by sanctioned individuals. Dubai’s current stance on the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which began on Feb. 24, 2022, is a neutral one, indicating to the Russians that their money is safe in Dubai, an attractive location for the super-rich.
A real-estate broker said, “we’ve been seeing a lot of Russians and even Belarusians coming to Dubai and bringing whatever they can bring, even in crypto.”
