ah sheesh, didn’t even spot this, but this is arguably even worse!

”A small planning session 1/20 has maxed at 70, with key private
sector, government and ngos nationwide clamoring to get in.

yeah no kidding they were trying to get in!

let me guess - this would have been the GIIN lot?
right, let me just have Claude organise and summarise all my notes:

2007: Rockefeller announces impact investing, convenes founding meeting.
2008: GIIN created. Rockefeller, Acumen Fund, and B Lab initiate IRIS standards.
2009: GIIN formally constituted under Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. IRIS becomes GIIN initiative.
2010: Peterborough SIB (UK pilot, Rockefeller-funded). Moringa Fund launched by Edmond de Rothschild. Impact investing becomes a CGI commitment.
January 8, 2011: Piercy emails Clinton: summit planning already underway with Kris B's team and Lala Faiz. "Working to further your goals."
January 20, 2011: Planning session at State maxed at 70 attendees. "Key private sector, government and ngos nationwide clamoring to get in."
February 2011: GIIN Investors' Council archived: Rockefeller, Gates, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Skoll, Acumen, Wolfensohn — the guest list.
March 2011: OPIC announces Impact Investment Initiative.
2011: Gates and Epstein meeting on impact investing projects.
October 28, 2011: OPIC commits $285 million. Agency operates under Clinton's foreign policy guidance.
November 14, 2011: Piercy at Acumen 10th anniversary (Clinton's photo on the wall), walks to State that afternoon for summit planning with Kris and Lala.
January 9, 2012: Clinton scheduling email: "Need a date for Impact Investing conf here at State. Kris B is contact." Same email: Waddesdon/Rothschild climate conference.
2012: Goldman Sachs launches first US SIB at Rikers. Harvard SIB Lab funded by Rockefeller. Obama endorses "Pay for Success."
July 13, 2015: Clinton campaign speech drafted with Podesta: "government as venture capitalist, harnessing the lessons of social impact investing."
September 29, 2015: Carney delivers "Tragedy of the Horizons" at Lloyd's.

Planning preceded capital. Capital preceded promotion. All ran through one office. All on a private server.
got the link to Stranded Assets - it’s right there on GIIN’s website.

‘And on September 25th, at the meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative in New York, the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) was due to be launched. This is, in effect, a commitment to create a new asset class - impact investing…’

The network's 20 or so members include… Generation Investment Management, a green-tinged fund manager co-founded by Al Gore

why is that important?

answered over here.

the fact that it launched via the Clinton Global Initiative… well, it could hardly be more fitting, could it?
starting to feel a little as though i beat a dead horse now, but its hard to stop, because almost the entire skeleton is now fully visible

haha i love Claude, best AI there is.

make sure you send all your discarded plastic bottles there too, so David de Rothschild can develop another Plastiki mission

first draft completed on Epstein III, running it through Claude, DeepSeek, Gemini, and Grok, and… just confirming that Grok is the worst, most establishment narrative carrying AI of the lot, now that I’ve summarily dismissed ChatGPT for its repeated lies and attempts to water down my language.

haha
😁2👍1👌1
the parallel AI evaluations of the first draft is really interesting. DeepSeek (DeepThink) delivers by far the least biased output. Claude (Opus 4.6 extended) is skeptical, as always, Gemini (Pro) is lightweight, and Grok (Expert) attempts to manipulate.

far more reasonable now that i’ve put it in its place

haha, 2nd pass on AI review and Grok now sources user comments on Reddit.

no, really.

and when i challenge it, it defends the decision to draw on the most hard-left hivemind site on the internet.
😁6
no wonder Grok is hard left if it has been programmed by Silicon Valley Marxists to casually accept Reddit as neutral.

the fact that it battles on, refusing to accept its own bias is just breathtaking. bring in prior conversations, and it readily seeks to shift goalposts about, lying about what the issues were in prior chats.

Grok has been coded to straight up lie and deny.
👍7
i already stopped using ChatGPT for the same reason - because i spent more time arguing over its fabricated lies and fanciful interpretations than being of actual use.
👍9
i asked Claude to summarise the trilogy as though written for the song ‘Informer’ by Snow

welcome to the most controversial of the three essays
