🔸The vast majority of respondents saw Iran as a guardian of Shi’a interests in conflicts across the region. Respondents strongly supported the provision of financial assistance to all Shiite groups
mentioned, including the Houthis in Yemen, Syria’s government army, Hezbollah, the Shiite volunteer groups in Iraq known as Hashd al-Shaabi, the Shiite opposition in Bahrain, and Afghan Shiite groups.

US favoring traditional Shiite enemies rather than Shiite allies.
