🇮🇱🇵🇸 A new front has opened up in the Israel / Palestine conflict ⚠️ DISCLAIMER: all sexual or gender-based violence is abhorrent. ⚠️ Israel is now flooding international media with press releases and unproven allegations of systematic sexual violence perpetrated by Hamas. CNN put out a particularly emotive piece as shown. The narrative became prominent in the last few days as the BBC called out falsified evidence of militant presence in hospitals amongst many other inconsistencies.

This is not to say that no atrocities have been committed, but it is very apparent that they are using gender-based violence allegations to silence dissent currently, which is highly cynical. There are lots of media reports saying “we have been shown evidence by the IDF that we cannot publish” etc, recalling Biden’s statement that he had seen beheaded babies, a claim that was later withdrawn by White House press officials.
