Больше миллиона Lambda функций, больше 6000 AWS аккаунтов и всего 3 человека в платформенной команде.
Ребята из ProGlove живут по принципам "one workload, one account" и "scale to true zero". Полная изоляция, никаких noisy neighbors и максимально прозрачная аллокация костов, звучит жестко, но работает.

Недавние и сегодняшнее падание AWS на Ближнем Востоке показал простую вещь, Multi-AZ не всегда спасают, когда падает целый регион или даже несколько сразу. Даже компании, которые "сделали все правильно", оказались оффлайн.
А что делать?
Думать о мульти-регионе или active-active, но очень дорого. Большая и больная тема для дисскусии, но тут case by case надо смотреть.
