Siri is probably among the products which had the most exposure to users (probably a billion+ users throughout iPhone's history) without capturing that opportunity to actually do anything meaningful with the huge user base it got for free.

A decade and a half is insane timeline in tech industry, and huge majority of users use Siri the same way today as 15 years ago, setting a timer or an alarm clock.

If they had 0 improvements over these 15 years the situation wouldn't be much different than today.

Сьогодні раптово згадав про фічу Block Element в UBlock і вручну поблокав всі блядскі елементи в Розетці, типу ЧЕРВОНИХ цін с їх картою, фейкових цін без знижки, плашек "Залиште відгук", їбаний floating button с Rozetka AI і т.д.

Кстати обнаружил что еще в мае Vivaldi (браузер от создателя той самой старой Opera) запартнерился с Proton VPN, и Opera Turbo is back.
Теперь можна залогиниться в Протон через акк Вивальди, и подключаться к бесплатным серверам в один клик мгновенно (работает сильно лучше чем нативная аппка Протона на маке)

It's also the buying of gift cards that can get Apple accounts locked:

If enough of these horror stories are publicized, people will learn to never buy/redeem Apple gift cards because of the real possibility of account bans.

- Don't give Apple gift cards to family and friends: You're potentially ruining the recipient's digital life if they redeem it.

- Don't buy Apple gift cards: You risk ruining your own digital life.

If you've been given an Apple gc for Christmas -- and you have paranoia of the risks -- don't buy anything online that's tied to your Apple ID. Instead, go to the physical Apple store to redeem it. And don't buy an iPhone with it because that will eventually get assigned to an Apple ID. Instead, get a non-AppleID item such as the $249 ISSEY MIYAKE knit sock.

I have thousands of credit-card reward points that could be traded in for Apple gift cards but I don't do it because Apple's over-aggressive fraud tracking means Apple's store currency is too dangerous to use.
