This is Narcio's reasonably critical, non judgemental, dangerously italian, digital hoard zone, pirate shack and corvid sanctuary. Pizda has remarkable promotions.

Like this guy here. Sheer arrogance with a subtle form of pettiness, not over the top. Pattinson managed to maintain that Homeric cruelty with great refinement.
The entire cast performed excellently. Even Zendaya, despite her apparent flatness and lack of expressiveness, managed to mask it with the mystery surrounding the divine nature of her character. Bravi bravi.

The monologues were measured, with the right weight and dynamism. It's not easy, I assure you, although Nolan, when he wants to, knows how to do it well.
Now, after considering the positive aspects, let's look at what's necessary.

No, this isn't Homer's Odyssey. This is Nolan's Odyssey. Anyone who expected anything different is a misguided fool.

Paradoxically, and against all logic of filmmaking, Christopher Nolan managed the difficult feat of making "The Odyssey," the tale of Homerian fame, the weakest point of the entire film.
The intention was to reconstruct events through memory and recollection. Therefore, it starts with a fragment, progresses to hearsay, then to testimony, and finally culminates in Ulysses' return. This works well on paper.

However, the introduction, where the hero Ulysses is introduced within Telemachus' narrative arc, using this fragmented, almost epigraphic approach, leaves less room for mystery and legend. Instead, it rushes into a confusing and sometimes recursive presentation of the setting and characters, which feels rather bizarre and out of place. Everything is thrown at you like dies on a table.

ANYWAY, the narrative arc of Ulysses is consistent, with a few hiccups here and there. The escape from the island of Helios is a complete auditory assault. The final fight scene is simply embarrassing. Unjustifiable. It goes from a monologue reminiscent of "Born on the Fourth of July" by Oliver Stone to a Tom & Jerry-style fight.

In short, this movie is like my old, cheap headphones: all mids. 5/10

I want to emphasize that my opinions are extremely subjective. The only areas where I can offer expertise, and where I can confidently say I have experience, albeit with its ups and downs, are in acting and stagecraft, encompassing all aspects from facial expressions and vocalization to kinesics.

Regarding directing, I am very inexperienced, having only written a few poems that were posted here to die amidst the memes, and a play that, perhaps, I might one day be able to stage in a distant and unlikely future.

Everything I say should not be taken as a set of rules to follow, but rather as the ramblings of a dumbass, to be discussed with yours truly, the dumbass.
