RT @LucasFoxNews: White House on Russia’s change in nuclear doctrine after Biden dropped restrictions on Ukraine launching U.S.-supplied short-range ballistic missiles into Russia’s Kursk region:

“As we said earlier this month, we were not surprised by Russia’s announcement that it would update its nuclear doctrine; Russia had been signaling its intent to update its doctrine for several weeks. Observing no changes to Russia’s nuclear posture, we have not seen any reason to adjust our own nuclear posture or doctrine in response to Russia’s statements today.  This is more of the same irresponsible rhetoric from Russia, which we have seen for the past two years. As we said to Russia weeks ago, Russia’s use of DPRK soldiers in combat operations against Ukraine presents a significant escalation of its war of choice against Ukraine and we warned that the United States would respond. I won’t get into the details of that response today.”

Zelensky: "And no need for speculation: our state is not planning to lower mobilization age. We have to use a new approach to [army] contracts to gradually rely on contracts rather than mobilization to shape our army."

@front_ukrainianReplying to @Dodi_: I wrote about this in the past. In short, it is not possible to destroy the Kerch Bridge with ATACMS only, but JASSM, SCALP, and Storm Shadow supplemented with ATACMS will do the job

That’s not to say ATACMS won’t cause damage to the bridge. It just won’t be enough to destroy it https://twitter.com/ukraine_map/status/1760923208931319835#m

RT @konrad_muzyka: If we exclude the Sunday attack, this is how the Russian monthly missile usage look. A significant decrease in their use since March 2024, so Moscow has plenty of space to expand the missile campaign.

@Maks_NAFO_FELLA: That’s true Ukraine must mobilize more soldiers to win the war, they have 8.3 million men between the ages of 19 and 50, many of them which they can mobilize, while they have ~250k fighting on the frontline

But the lack of weapons and equipment is also a very significant problem
Ukraine Battle Map (Twitter)

@ukraine_map @Maks_NAFO_FELLA: Those are the two biggest problems

The number of men mobilized and the lack of weapons and equipment including Tanks, IFVs, Cluster Munitions, Patriot Systems, F-16s, ATACMS, Cruise Missiles, and Glide Bombs being sent. All are sent in significantly lower quantities than needed.

@WarMonitor3: They took 700,000 casualties and are complaining about ATACMS striking Russia. They have much bigger problems to worry about.

@Zagonel85: Evidence that 5 ATACMS were shot down?

Russia has to claim something for damage control after a big “red line” was crossed. They have no response, so they have to minimize the successful strike

They claim this one, the “6th” ATACMS was shot down too

But it doesn’t look like it

Video from Ukraine's Peaky Blinders unit showing two Ukrainian tanks engaging Russian positions in an occupied village in the Kurakhove direction. The first tank deploys smoke as it withdraws while the second tank covers its withdrawal. A Russian FPV hovers near the second tank but doesn't strike. The description credits the positioning of the tank in low ground (the signal connection for the FPV is worse) and with bushes behind it, covering its most vulnerable parts. It also deploys smoke as it withdraws.
