🛩️💥Ukrainian drone attack on a Su-57, the most modern Russian fighter aircraft, at the Akhtubinsk airbase!

On the night of 7-8 June, 2024, there was an attempted drone attack on a Russian Su-57 on the territory of the Akhtubinsk airfield in the Astrakhan region of Russia, located 600km from the frontline.

Satellite images published by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine show two traces of drone strikes directly next to the Su-57. However, the extent of damage received by the fighter remains unclear.

/3. A couple of observations regarding the Su-57. The first is that if you look closely, you can see that the aircraft is located under the anti-drone net installed at the airfield.
The second is the white spot that appeared on the hull of the Su-57 on the satellite imagery after the drone strikes.

/4. Comment of a Russian source associated with Russian military aviation regarding the drone attack on Su-57:

“Yes, yesterday the airfield in Akhtubinsk was attacked by a UAV. 3 of them arrived.

The Su-57 was damaged by shrapnel; it is now being determined whether it can be restored or not.
If not, then this will be the first combat loss of the Su-57 in history.”
