@KyivIndependent The smarter thing to do in this position would be to wait till they get ATACMS and then hit the ships in Sevastopol. Now the ships are gone but they will be shooting Kalibr at Ukraine and reloading at another port. And USA should not publicly say what weapons they give Ukraine.🇺🇦

@benjackus @KyivIndependent Think about it this way. These ships are still shooting Kalibr at Ukraine, they’re just reloading at a different port. Ukraine should’ve waited to get ATACMS then hit the ships at Crimea not told them ahead of time because now the ships are gone but will still be around Crimea.🇺🇦

@jeffvann1 @KyivIndependent They only moved the ships after Ukraine started talking about 300km ATACMS and hitting Russian ports. They didn’t do it the last 2 months. Only after Ukraine publicly started spilling their plans. They should’ve waited for ATACMS then hit the ships same with the Crimean Bridge.🇺🇦

@ChaimGordon @KyivIndependent Russia only moved ships from Crimea after Ukraine started talking about 300km weapons and hitting Crimean ports. They did not do that 2 months before when Ukraine started getting HIMARS. And USA publicly stating the weapons they give is doing the opposite of what you say it is.🇺🇦

But what we do know is that it would be much better for Ukraine to wait for ATACMS then sink the ships. If USA didn’t want to sink ships, they would order it to Ukraine.🇺🇦

Now the ships will still be shooting missiles at Ukraine but reloading from a different port. Meaning the ships will be doing nothing differently other than reloading at a different port.🇺🇦

@kueilelee @KyivIndependent That’s coming from Reznikov himself and reports from pentagon officials cause nobody can seem to keep their mouth shut they just tell us their plans and what weapons they receive/send. But it hasn’t been signed off on from the president which would be the last step for Ukraine.🇺🇦

The ships being in Crimea or anywhere else in the blacks sea can shoot Kalibr missiles at any point in Ukraine. It wouldn’t make any difference if they are in Crimea or in another port in Russia.🇺🇦

@markos @KyivIndependent It’s not a Rumor this was said by Reznikov who talks to Lloyd Austin and pentagon officials. The president hasn’t signed off on it which is why it isn’t official. The ships can fire Kalibrs from any location in the Black Sea and hit anywhere in Ukraine. This was the wrong move.🇺🇦

Moving ships makes ZERO difference to Russia because they’re mainly used for Kalibr. Now instead of reloading in Crimea they’ll reload in Russia.
