Rare beast hunted down: Ukrainian drone operators from the NGU "Lasar's Group" managed to detect and destroy a Russian BM-30 Smerch 300mm heavy multiple rocket launcher (MRL).

This is only a third confirmed destroyed Russian BM-30 Smerch MRL since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The vehicle was obliterated after being hit with munitions dropped from a heavy bomber drone, which caused ammunition detonation and significant fire.

That occurred in Kherson Oblast, southern Ukraine.
