Ukrainian Forces 🇺🇦 have liberated the villages of Stepne and Novokostianynivka in Sumy, on the Ukrainian-Russian border
Russia is ~21km from the city of Sumy, and has not advanced in over 2 months, while Ukraine has been gradually pushing back

Ukrainian forces repelled another Russian mechanized assault near Siversk on the Donetsk front.
The Russians have thrown into battle BTR-82 APCs and tanks loaded with assault infantry and covered with improvised armor, as well as improvised camouflage made from tree branches.

Russian war correspondent Alexander Kharchenko:
"Rapid breakthroughs are the best means of combating enemy drones. They simply do not have time to react, and what becomes an absolute weapon on a static front does not work so effectively in dynamics. The battle for the 'forester's hut' will certainly turn into a 'blitzkrieg'. And I think that we will be the first to feel this tactic."

At night, a russian BTR with troops was on its way to assault, but was detected by a drone. (3rd Operational Brigade "Spartan" of the 2nd Corps "Khartia" of the National Guard of Ukraine)
The vehicle was stopped and when the Russian infantry reached the trenchsystem the whole position was attacked with drones, artillery, and even cluster ammunition, making the chance of survival of the approx 15 Russians very low.

Ukrainian President Zelensky:
- The meeting between US President Trump and Russian President Putin in Alaska cqn certainly be important for their bilateral relations, but they cannot accept anything about Ukraine without us. I really believe that the President of the United States understands and realizes this.
- I will have a trilateral meeting with Trump and Putin. I don't know the date yet. If we want to end the war, that's how it will be.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released a statement addressing the current situation on the Donetsk front:
- The Ukrainian Defense Forces are taking effective measures to stop the enemy's advance in the Dobropilla and Pokrovsk directions;
- Our units are involved in heavy defensive battles against superior enemy forces. In the Pokrovsk direction alone, the invaders have concentrated forces numbering over 110,000 personnel;
- In order to penetrate the depths of our defense, the Russian invaders are acting boldly. Despite the losses, they are trying to infiltrate our defenses with sabotage and small infantry groups;
- In particular, several small enemy groups, bypassing the positions of the Ukrainian defenders, attempted to advance towards the settlement of Zolotyi Kolodiaz. In addition, using the peculiarities of the local landscape, the saboteurs secretly penetrated the settlements of Vesele, Vilne, Rubizhne, Kucheriv Yar. Some of the...
