Ukraine is a sovereign country and they will chose how to defend itself. If you think that Ukraine striking Russia with ATACMS will lead to nuclear war or WW3 then you are completely delusional. Russia is a threat to all of Europe, they need to be stopped. Russia thinks they can get away with anything, totally destroying a country that is 28x smaller than them. It’s been too long, enough is enough. This was long over due. If Russia didn’t invade Ukraine, break international laws, then none of this would be happening. And you would have a valid claim, but in this case you have none. If Russia gets to hit anywhere in Ukraine with missiles and drones especially ones from other countries, then Ukraine gets to hit Russia with missiles and drones from other countries as well.

US is a signatory to the Budapest Memorandum and they are following their part of the deal to help Ukraine defend itself. They are helping a partner defend itself from an aggressor.
