RT @AggregateOsint: A short time ago Georgian parliament passed the controversial "foreign agent" law, which has incited significant public dissent and mass protests. The legislation mandates that non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and independent media receiving more than 20% of their funding from foreign sources register as "foreign agents." These entities will be subject to oversight by the Justice Ministry and could face substantial fines if they fail to comply.

Critics have labeled the legislation the "Russia law," drawing parallels to a similar 2012 Russian statute that has been employed to stifle dissent and restrict civil liberties. Concerns have been raised that the Georgian government could use this law to suppress opposition and curtail freedoms.

Have artillery units of the Special Operations Forces of Belarus received MLRS?

In July 2023, we wrote that artillery units of the Special Operations Forces would receive the Grad MLRS.

It seems that this indeed happened. We can come to this conclusion based on information about the events dedicated to the Victory Day celebrations in Brest and Vitsiebsk.

📍On May 9, a military parade was held in Brest. It was reported that “models of modern military equipment, which is in service with military units of the Brest garrison,” took part in the parade. Two Grad MLRS could be seen in the mechanized convoy, one of the vehicles had the flag of the Special Operations Forces on it. We note that previously, Grad systems weren’t in service with units of the Brest garrison (in particular, the 38th Air Assault Brigade).
