Later, the drones continued to enter the airspace of Belarus: at 02:28, 03:10, 06:47, 06:56 and 07:54. Some of them returned to Ukraine, while others went deep into Belarus, heading for Mazyr, Khoiniki and Brahin.

Throughout the night, fighters of the Belarusian Air Force from Baranavichy were flying over Homiel region and launching missiles, trying to shoot down the drones. At around 02:30, several missile launches were heard over Khoiniki district and a Shahed being hit was seen.

Thus, according to @Hajun_BY, 2 Shahed drones out of 8 that flew into Belarus on the night of 05.09.2024 were shot down (over Homiel and Khoiniki districts), the remaining 6 returned to Ukraine and/or disappeared.

This is the second recorded case of the Belarusian fighters fighting drones launched by Russia. And probably the first case of:
• Russian air defense working on its own Shahed drones in the Belarusian sky;
• Damages “on the ground” caused by falling drone debris.

RT @Faytuks: Chief of the General staff of the Belarusian armed forces confirms that they shot down drones over Belarus yesterday.

@charly0153: I think the one in this dock could be Knyaz Pozharskiy.

Looks like Dolgorukiy remains at Zvezdocha with the Project 2020 alongside.

@charly0153: The reason for docking in doesn't have to be anything major. It could be some sort of inspection or minor work of some kind, and they don't have to take the sub into the halls.

If the weather cooperates, we'll get to see how long this stay becomes.

RT @Archer83Able: Footage documenting the moment when Russian missiles struck the city of Lviv in western Ukraine early on Wednesday.

Moments before the third impact, Russian [cruise] missile can be seen dispensing what are presumably flares/decoys. https://twitter.com/Archer83Able/status/1831278351350129152#m
