Raytheon announced that the NSPA had contracted them for the delivery of PAC-2 GEM-T missiles worth $478 million to Germany as a replacement for 100 missiles recently given to #Ukraine.

With the now given figure, we can actually see that most of the funds contributed by the Netherlands and Denmark are still not allocated for a specific use case.

The German share of the procurement of 100 PAC-2 GEM-T missiles is €200 million. The Norwegian share is €125 million. This alone amounts to ~$355 million, leaving a remaining ~$123 million difference, which will be covered by the commitments of the Netherlands (€150 million total) and Denmark (~€134 million total).

If we now do the maths, of the total of ~€284 million that both countries have contributed, ~€171.2 million remains after paying their share for the purchase of Patriot missiles. Together with the €200 million from Belgium and the remaining ~€51 million from Norway, this still leaves ~€422.2 million unused which must be allocated for the procurement of air defence systems, radars, ammunition and similar equipment for Ukraine.

Therefore, of the total funding pledged to date by Belgium, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Canada, ~47% has been utilised or bound for a specific use case.

If we assume (no public proof yet) that Denmark and the Netherlands each pay half of the remaining ~$123 million, the list of commitments now looks like this.

Please be aware though that the figures may not be 100% correct, as different countries have pledged in different currencies and, for example, the value of the Patriot missiles and the payment for them is given in different currencies. Therefore, I often had to convert, round down and up. So it may vary slightly, but basically the calculation and listing should be correct.
