According to a Goldman Sachs global study of 328 chief finance and chief investment officers about their firms' asset allocations and portfolios, US-based insurers are the most interested in cryptocurrency investment.

The investment banking behemoth's annual worldwide insurance investment survey included replies about cryptocurrency, with 11 percent of U.S. insurance firms indicating an interest in investing or have a current investment in crypto.
