Goldman Sachs Will Offer Ethereum Futures And Options Trading.

Investment banking giant Goldman Sachs, gears towards offering Ether derivatives products in the upcoming months.

This is a major uptick for Ethereum as it gains more Institutional adoption.

Mathew McDermott, Goldman’s managing director of digital assets acknowledged this on Monday when he said that Institutional adoption will continue as ETH receives more interest.

He confirmed the investment bank’s move into Ethereum options and futures.

CME's Micro Bitcoin Futures Surpasses 1M Contracts.

Institutional exposure to cryptocurrencies via derivatives continued to grow in the second quarter, as CME Group’s newly launched Bitcoin (BTC) micro contract received a considerable uptick in its first two months of trading.

Since the launch on May 3, CME’s Micro Bitcoin futures contract has already surpassed 1 million contracts traded.

CME executive Tim McCourt said the new product has been popular among institutions and day traders seeking to hedge their spot Bitcoin price risk.
