Gold trend analysis for 17 January:
The gold and silver markets came out of the downside on Tuesday, mainly attributed to a stronger dollar and rising US yields, precious metals like gold are under downward pressure as the US economy shows resilience, but the market believes that the easing cycle will start in March and as long as dovish bets on the Fed remain high, the downside will be limited.
Coupled with the impact of the geopolitical situation, there is no need to worry too much that gold will come out of the excessively large down space.

The US presidential election, the rush of Democrats and Republicans, is also a battle between hawks and doves.
